Multi-beam Echo Sounder is an important measuring device in the area of seafloor bathymetry and physiognomy detection. With the pace of exploitation of the ocean, its potential broad prospect of application has been emerged. And the research of Multi-Beam Echo Sounder is more and more urgent. Based on the project of shallow-water wide coverage multi-beam bathymetric system, this dissertation designs and implements multi-channel analog receiver and data acquisition circuit which are in the system.According to the characteristics of multi-channel receiver circuit, this dissertation puts forward a modularization design method. The development of receiver motherboard and 80 signal conditioning modules have been completed. The module is used to complete such functions as non-distortion signal amplification, filtering and gain control. The dissertation designs a simple and practical gain control method and tries to apply three- stagger tuning amplifier as bandpass filter. Many effective measures have been applied to ensure high performance of noise, amplitude and phase consistency. The result shows that modularization design method makes the design and debugging more simple and convenient. The functions and parameters of the receiver have been proved to meet design requirement.Data acquisition circuit is the bridge which connects analog and digital signal. The dissertation designs a kind of data acquisition circuit based on FPGA, which mainly includes FPGA control circuit, multi-channel ADC circuit, DAC circuit and HOTLink serial data transfer interface. Briefly introduction of PCB design of the data acquisition circuit is a plus.With using Verilog HDL the dissertation designs logic of the functional circuits in the software environment of Quartusâ…ˇ. And then, functional and timing simulations are carried out in Modelsim simulation tools. Finally, board-level verification is taken into account to ensure that the multi-channel data acquisition circuit can work stably.
