ABSTRACT:Now satellite navigation system has been widely used in military and civilian sectors. It can be continuously provide accurate positioning of98%of the world, speed and precision time standard all day. It’s have been widely used in people’s life. After the American’s GPS(Global Positioning System) and Russian GLONASS(GLOBAL NAVIGATION SATELLITE SYSTEM) China has also successfully developed the Beidou navigation system Therefore, the study of satellite positioning receiver technology is imperative.The thesis mainly studied and implemented the multi-channel GPS receiver acquisition and tracking in the FPGA. At the same time, it studied relative pseudo-distance algorithm.In order to provide software localization algorithm parameters.It must extracted the interval that generate by different satellites reaching the receiver.Firstly, paper describes the basic concept of the GPS positioning system, fundamentals of satellite acquisition and tracking and the basic principles and methods of GPS satellite positioning. Then in the hardware section, the paper analyzed and verified the single-channel capture module, single-channel tracking module,satellite information transmission and distribution module,interval count module and data upload module in FPGA separately. Single-channel acquisition and tracking section focuses on frequency hopping Reform and phase jump Reform. atellite information transmission and distribution module assigned the satellite information in real time and does not duplicatly to multiple channels. Interval count module extracted the interval that generate by different satellites reaching the receiver and the data upload module send these messages to software.At the last,it studied the relative pseudo-distance algorithm and implemented in software.With this multi-channel tracking method can effectively utilize hardware resources, reduce power consumption.
