Internet of things over the Internet based on the concept put forward is to extend and expand its client between any goods and goods to the exchange of information and communication of a network concept. The further development of networking technology, in fact, promotes seamless interactive technology. The so-called seamless interaction, that is, the full realization of the computer design of the digital world and physical world is tightly integrated way. Therefore, the positive development in networking technology materials as soon as possible to expand its application areas, as soon as possible to put into production and life to be of great significance.While the development of the Gateway is to build a whole complex network architecture, a crucial step. Gateway is built above the transport layer protocol converter with high efficiency, response time, high reliability, low power consumption, anti-interference ability and other characteristics, also has good versatility. As the Internet of things is concerned, it is to connect the wireless sensor networks and the Internet or other only devices (such as mobile phones, PDAs, PDA) as a bridge. At present, the IP gateway protocol, while having a long life, stability, scalability, and strong advantages, can no longer meet the integrated circuit chip miniaturization, low power, low-speed, high bandwidth utilization of the transmission requirements. Therefore, as soon as possible to establish a low-power, compatibility, good, and be able to meet future technological change in the use of space on the network's growing demand for network transmission mechanism has become the urgent need to complete the task.This article first introduces lightweight XMPP protocols and embedded operating system, Contiki, the establishment of a standardized, open network server architecture, its architectural style is based on the most basic of IPV6 network protocol has able to send short messages, radio--Subscribe to the mechanism and the authentication mechanism and the protection of data security and other functions, is also a lightweight, scalable and good, open-ended. Then the test platform, successfully transplanted to Contiki within the XMPP protocol. Again, for wireless sensor networks and connectivity, and with the Internet connectivity was proposed design idea and made a test lab. Finally, in the above experiment is proposed based on test platform based on the external hardware circuit design ideas and hardware circuit design.
