With the advent of the 21st century, the information period is coming, and higher and newer requirements are required by people for communications. TD-SCDMA, as one of the key technologies of 3G, is paid a great attention for its independent intellectual property rights in China.This paper is mainly focus on the research of power control principle and methods applied in TD-SCDMA system. Besides, the inner loop power control methods and outer loop power control algorithms are studied deeply. On the basis of research on the fuzzy control theory, an outer-loop power control algorithm based on continuous fuzzy control is proposed in this paper through the combination of fuzzy control and the characeristics of the outer-loop power control. Additionally, the basic theory of information fusion technology and t-norms are studied in this paper. An outer-loop power control algorithm based on t-norms is introduced. Finally, based on MATLAB and Simulink platform, the performance of the two proposed outer-loop power control algorithms are given through simulation. Compared with the existing outer-loop power control algorithms, the proposed algorithms can adjust the SIR target value with reasonable and flexible step-size, which can reduce interference to other users, ensure the good performance of the system, and improve the system capacity. The results of the experiment validate the advantages of the proposed algorithms.
