Since the 21st century,Combination of audio, video and data streaming multimedia network applications on the development and the rapid increase。On the Internet streaming media applications has been rapid development, but QoS (quality of the Services) can not be satisfactory, Mainly due to the Internet's original design is to meet the needs of end-to-end system。Traditional streaming media system built on the C/S (customers-server) mode on the basis of a single server to face numerous clients, as CPU power, memory size, network bandwidth limitations, which can service the client is very limited, Scalability poor. However, support for streaming data distribution of the large-scale IP Multicast technology can provide the network layer in the packet sent to share the same IP address a host of services group, has its own inherent limitations and difficult deployment, including The complexity of the agreement, terminal and network heterogeneity, and the lack of reliable support for multicast, with the expansion of the congestion control mechanisms. In this paper, through the use of data broadcasting network of publishing, combined effectively with error control and application-level multicast algorithms for data synchronization players, develop the design of a web-based application layer multicast technology DShowPlayer streaming media player system. This can be seen streaming media use the Internet application layer multicast technology can be overcome traditional C/S model can not support large-scale scope of the deficiencies and through the introduction of DirectShow effective solution of the problem of heterogeneous network So that users can watch the smooth digital video or other multimedia streaming.
