Particle detectors are widely used in high energy physics, medical imaging and radiation detection application. To improve the position resolution, the cell size of every new detector is decreasing, such as the micro gas detector, silicon micro-strip detector and photodiode array and so on. At the same time, it can also reduce the electronic noise and improve the count rate with the realization of single readout front-end circuit. Hence, it is need to add the number of channels of front-end electronics. Silicon detector is a robust and common particle technique with simple structure, high position resolution. Compared with general front-end electronics readout, silicon detectors have to cope with high data rates but with low power consumption and low cost. The ASIC chip used in the silicon detectors is introduced in this paper.With the analysis of the character of actual output signal by the silicon detector, we use the equivalent circuit of the detector to simulate the actual signal change through the readout. At the same time, with the analysis of the character of different amplifiers, shaping circuits, voltage comparators and different band-gap references, charge-sensitive amplifier, Gaussian shaper circuits, voltage comparator and band-gap reference are designed. For the parameters of this circuit, such as the power, the input charge sensitivity, the charge gain and the noise, we choose the basic structure of the pre-amplifier which is composed by the proper operational amplifier and values of resistances and capacitances. The design of the filtering and shaping circuits are ready for the ASIC chip. We also design the voltage comparator to the ready of output signals. To provide the proper bias current and bias voltage, we choose the simple structure of band-gap reference by the consideration of power. The last, we simulate the whole circuit together and the simulation results show that this readout chips match most item of the requirement.
