Design And Implementation Of Camera Application Based On BREW

Camera has become one of the mobile phone's standard configurations, and it is one of the most important mobile phone entertainment features. With the increasing requirements of pixels, some mobile phone cameras can even replace a digital camera. By using of the mobile phone's networks and connections, people can share the pictures and videos with others by means of MMS, e-mail, Bluetooth and Web sites.Firstly, this thesis investigates the development process of the mobile phone camera. Sceondly, it analyses the related hardware of phone cameras. Thirdly, it describes the process of generating images from the camera. Through research, it gives the BREW application development platform for the design. By means of the FORM mechanism and the model, view and controller separation of mobile software solutions, it realizes the basic and some new functions of mobile phone camera applications. New functions include photo frame and slide show. The design of this application is fully considered the reusability, portability, and maintainability of the code. Finally, after completion the tests, the application is running normally.The thesis mainly gives attention to the handset camera application software design and research.The methods in the thesis have certain reference value to re-develop on BREW platform.
