| According to the widely popularities, applications and the much more severe competition for the related industry; the GSM mobile communication network gains much more attention than ever. Therefore, we are facing an extremely urgent task to handle over--How to develop the new tech even the new ranges of business. As known to all, the Short Message Service (SMS) which is a kind of basic communication business offered by the GSM facilitator and was different from the speech transmissions, has already been used in many parts of our daily life. Up to now, numerous kinds of further applications based on this basic business have also developed vigorously.This paper introduces an attempt of projection which tends to merge the SMS receiving and sending function of the cell phone with strong storage and management function of computer together. Based on this assumption, a system is designed out; by which we can put the SMS receiving and sending services based on web for middle or small enterprises or individual users to effect.Here comes the main part of this paper which mainly introduces the design plan for the whole system, the module dividing, the design of the communication interfaces, every business modules, database management module and so on. It introduces the facilitators'database through SQL Server as the design tool.How to achieve the smooth correspondence between personal computers and GSM Modem is the crucial point in the process of this attempt, and it is also the emphasis of this paper. It mainly includes how to make use of the API system to solve the correspondence between computer and GSM Modem serial port; and the using of AT command to completely control the GSM Modem and receiving or dispatching short massages; furthermore, the form analysis for transmissions and receiving short massage PDU (Protocol Data Unit).At last, the paper introduces the system interface design and operating test and summarizes the design experience and the work that shall be done in future. |
