Design And Application Of Geographic Information Management System In Electric System

With the increasing requirement of the electric system automation, establishing a geographic information management system, which includes map showing and system management, is a kind of way to solve the requirement for the electric system users. Based on the upgrading of the original information system, this geographic information management system gives the functions of map showing, electric lines management, task distribution as well as problems resolving, and the efficiency of the electric system is improved.The present information management system can not satisfy the demand of customers. Therefore, based on analyzing the requirement of the users, this paper designs and achieves an information management system including map showing. First of all, the system architecture is designed. The electric distribution module, operation module, handheld devices module and personnel management module are designed and implemented. The electric distribution module provides the functions of map showing, map management, electric lines management and equipment management.The operation module provides the problems resolving, work distribution and the security fault feedback function, which insure the accuracy and order of the system implementation. The personnel management module provides user management function and user privilege management function.In the handheld devices module, a GPS fixed-point checking strategy suitable is designed for the circuit supervision and problem location determining, which has good usability and scalability when the system operates normally. Finally, each part of this geographic information system is tested, and the results show that the feasibility and effectiveness of the system have met the design requirements.
