Police Integrated Information Management System Based On Gis Technology And Realization

The development of Public security comprehensive information management system by the application of GIS technology is still in its beginning stage, and up till now there is no refined and practical syatem. The comprehensive geographic information system for policemen has been entered in the list of the 23 first-rate items of "Golden Shield" Project. The study constructs a system for Lai Yang by combination of computer technology, GIS technology and database technology, which lays the basis for the construction of information highway and technology-armed policemen.First, this paper provides the aims and significance of the research, introduces the present researching situation home and abroad and also concerns the research methods, key techniques and main contents of the study. Second, this paper clarifies designing principle of the system. According to the principle, this paper provides the general designing scheme and designing process from the functional and physical structure aspects. Finally, the advantages, creativity and practical prospect have been introduced in the paper.The development and application of the system will greatly improve the public security information management. It is a useful attempt for the modernization of public security system. During the process of developing the system, the professional ability and GIS technology have been given full consideration. The general structure established on the basis of new advanced and stable net model makes the future development possible. The system can be applied in and out of the public security system.
