Facility is the foundation of an enterprise. The technology of Geographic Information System, which combines software technology with spatial information processing, plays an important role in the development of an enterprise. For the integration of GIS and facility management, the traditional method usually cannot meet the needs of those actual applications ideally. This paper applies GIS and browser/server technology into facility management system, and discusses system structure, system design, emergency decision-making, system realization of facility management system based on enterprise geographic information in detail.This paper mainly consists of the following five parts:Get a general understanding of the research actuality of facility management and GIS. Then construct a framework of facility management system based on enterprise geographic information with the close integration of traditional facility management system and technology of enterprise geographic information, and replace the C/S network structure in traditional data integrated system with the B/S network structure.Accomplish a facility management system based on enterprise geographic information with the functions of user management, facility management, regulations management, office management, and query of geographic information. It achieves the integration of facility management and GIS, and also achieves the integration of graphic data and text.Introduce the conception of work flow into facility management, and realize the functions of document dispatch and management in the daily routine.Establish a network topology model of road that provides a basis of the shortest path analysis in emergency processing, and give a realization of shortest-path-finding with optimized Dijkstra arithmetic. The optimized arithmetic is more practical than traditional Dijkstra arithmetic. The GIS module in this system is programmed in Java due to the advantage of Java in programming. It carries through a useful sample in the realization of Web GIS system in Java.The project is supported by the Oil Refining Department of Beijing YanShan Petroleum and Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd.
