Research On GPR Information Processing Arithmetic & Information Management System

Ground penetrating radar (GPR) is an impactful detection method of buried targetsdeveloped in these decades and have been broadly used in the world. Compared with otherdetection method, ground penetrating radar has many advantages. So GPR is always one ofthe researching hotspots in the world in these years and has become one important branch ofremote sensing. Geographic information system (GIS) is a computer system which cancapture, store, manage, research, analyze and describe spatial objects' location and theirattribute data, and so on. Both GPR and GIS have been broadly used in the world. The thesisstudies a GPR information management system based on GIS. It has two parts. One is dataprocessing arithmetic, the other is the system realization. The main content of this dissertationcan be concluded as following:To the GPR data processing arithmetic, the dissertation researched basal arithmetic onradar data processing firstly. So lot of GPR data processing arithmetic which is very useful inpractice were collected, for example, filters, amplitude processing, migrations, and so on.Next, forward simulate is an important means to understand and research geological structure.It is an indispensable to guide GPR data gather, processing and interpreter. Therefore mainforward methods including ray tracing method and wave equation phase displacement wereresearched. Finally considering soft computing has advantages in enhance GPR data which isuncertain or imprecise sometimes, the thesis took fuzzy theory, rough set theory and geneticalgorithms into GPR data enhance. Also, the correlative arithmetic's results of field data orsynthesis data was gave, and result analysis was presented.To the system realization, Coupling GPR processing software, GIS and informationtechnology, a GPR information management system was put forward. Because it based onGIS technology, many GIS functions were reused, for example digital cartography, spacialdata management, and so on. And considering exist system related and the new techniquetrend, a GPR information management system which was a combine architecture of browser/server and client /server were put forward. Then, the key techniques of system were analyzedin detail, and settlement schemes were gave. Finally, the system was analyzed. And thefunction modules of system were analyzed in detail for their description and settlement. Then,a prototype of GPR management system was developed. The system could realize filters,amplitude processing,migrations, forward simulate,3D analysis, etc.
