The technology of new dry process cement production is the contemporary newest technology of cement production, it takes the technology of aerosol preheating and the kiln outside decompose as the core. The cement decomposing furnace is the core equipment of predecomposing system, its function is to let the exothermic process of the fuel burning and the endoergic process of the crude material carbonate decomposed at among by aerosol or the fluidization condition way carries on fast, makes the dissociating rate of crude material carbonate which in the rotary kiln to enhance, thus reduces the kiln heat load, enhances kiln the operating cycle, also enhanced the cement output and the quality. It can be seen that the temperature control of cement decomposing furnace is very important for thermal distribution and thermal regulation of whole new dry process predecomposing kiln system.Technically, the cement decomposing furnace is a typical nonlinearity, strong coupling and complexity control object. It's difficult to establish a precise mathematical model. The conventional control algorithm is very difficult to obtain satisfying effect. However, the experienced operator can operate it well and make it stable actually. This paper proposes the multivariable fuzzy control plan to control the temperature of decomposing furnace in view of a new dry process cement 2000 t/d clinker production line of a cement plant in Yunnan Province based on the current research actuality of domestic and overseas cement decomposing furnace's temperature control.Firstly, the paper analyzes its technological process thoroughly and determines the main factor which impact the changes of decomposing furnace temperature are the pulverized coal, the raw materials and the temperature and pressure of the tertiary air. According to the data measured of the plant, the mathematical model between decomposing furnace temperature and influencing factors has been obtained by the method of system identification. Secondly, the paper completes simulation research with the multivariable fuzzy controller under the VC++ environment. The result shows that the fuzzy controller has good control effect to control the temperature of decomposing furnace. Lastly, in order to put the algorithm into practice, the fuzzy control algorithm program based on OPC(OLE for Process Control) technology is developed and realized the data communication with WinCC6.0 software.This research associated to a project of KEARI(Kunming Electrical Apparatus Research Institute) and the human-machine interaction of software is friendly. The research result shows some value in application and promotion.
