With the development of electronic technology, electromagnetic compatibility testing has become a necessary step in product development, most of the domestic science and engineering colleges and universities have also carried out the corresponding courses. However, EMC test lab large investment, Equipment and technical strength used on the Chinese market more than 90% of this area monopolyed by foreign monopolies. To tie in with college courses in teaching electromagnetic compatibility, we have developed a set of pilot test platform.In this paper, after compared Electrical Fast Transient waveform, electrostatic wave and surge waveform found that three kinds of waveforms with a certain degree of similarity, decided to Electrical Fast Transient testing, static testing, surge test as the experimental object,build a platform. Waveform generator designed in this article through is used of hydrogen charging thyratron discharge as the main circuit switches. Compared with other semiconductor switching devices,it is a higher voltage capability and reliable work. Charging hydrogen thyratron used in the Fast Transient Generators,not only can improve the generator stability, and can significantly reduce costs. This article thyratron trigger circuit is designed well. Good trigger circuit is designed for thyratron in this paper. Designed trigger circuit based on CPLD in this paper. Trigger circuit have a certain width and pulse signals, control thyristor conduction. In order to be able to remotely control a computer, we are trying to introduction microcontroller and network technologies to come.Microcontroller communicate with the host computer through the serial port or network interface,and receive the data and instructions from host computer, and the paper has give a concrete design.In this paper take electrical fast transient burst testing as an example, which usually used in electromagnetic compatibility testing, and do detailed analysis for how to build conductivity testing platform .We focus on the testing platform needs, the testing environmental conditions, the process testing, conducting power signals testing for PCB boards in order to examine the effect of the platform structures. The electromagnetic environment mainly design the electrical fast transient burst generator, taking the actual project as a background, taking analysis of the laboratory framework, taking detailed describing for the testing process and putting forward a solution plan. Finally, this paper describes some of the specific applications of the electromagnetic compatibility testing in the SCM system.
