Automatic identification technology is an important mean and method of reading information automatically and entering the information into the computer.It is an integrated science and technology based on computer and communication technology.Automatic identification technology has been the rapid development on a global scale in recent decades.It formed initially the high-tech disciplines,including code,magnetic,OCR,RFID,biometrics and image recognition,etc,seting of computing,optical,mechanical and electrical,communication technology in one.Code technology as the forerunner appeared to be powerless in the era of changing rapidly.RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) express fully the advantages of automatic identification technology on its head as a new information technology.RFID has some advantages of waterproof,anti-magnetic,resistance of high temperature,long service life,long-range reading.At the same time,it has other advantages,like data being easily encrypted,big data storage capacity,store information being changed easily.On the contrary,the codes don't have these advantages.It is used widely to control in logistics,monitor in production process,intelligent identification,management of cargo and other areas.And it can improve significantly the management and operational efficiency and reduce the costs.Therefore,it is very critical and important to research and develop a highly reliable RFID system.The long-range RFID reader,by the frequency of 13.56MHz,using a combination of analog and digital demodulations to realize the functions of reading and writing, analysing the anti-collision algorithm of tag.In this paper,we describe the RFID firstly,then analysis the RFID systems and study deeply the design of long-range RFID reader.It mainly includes RFID reader modules,micro-control unit,RF output circuit,RF receiver circuit,serial communication circuit,focusing on researching on designing and debugging for RFID antenna.And finally,we introduce ISO15693 standards and relational software design.
