An Electronic Official Document Application System Based On Lotus Domino/Notes Platform

With the development of society and the deepening of the reform of government institutions, e-government is becoming more and more complicated and the original office pattern can no longer meet the increasing demand, such as transaction processing and information sharing,etc. In order to improve the work efficiency and strengthen the decision-making ability of the government to better serve the public, we must take the full advantage of modern communication technology, optimize government work flow, construct high-effciency electronic document management system.This thesis analyzes the specific needs of ShouGuang Municipal Organization Department in the electronic document management system. And then establishes electronic official document system based on Lotus Domino/Notes platform. On the function, this system realizes document circulation and focuses on the information application and the data index, so as to realize the effective management of knowledge.Integrating the software engineering ideas, this new system contains four subsystems:document management, management, daily work and personal management, system maintenance, compared to the old system.It is of C/S architecture. To achieve the five functions mentions above, it uses the Lotus Script language, and its application platform is Lotus Domino/Notes.
