Office automation is a new way to office that combines modern office and the function of computer network, is the product of the information society, belongs to an application area of current information technology revolution. Office automation that based on workflow technology, around computer networks as the center, with a range of office equipment and advanced communication technology for the purpose of information collection, processing, storage and sharing, in order to provide a common platform for the business office and corporate business processes, changes the traditional way of working to improve the operational efficiency of enterprises. In China's administrative organs, enterprises and financial institutions, office automation system is becoming more popular, that is also a measure of the importance of enterprise modernization management standards.The topics depends on the office automation project of Shenhua (Beijing) Remote Sensing Exploration Co., Ltd, based in the company's office automation needs in-depth research and study, based on the workflow technology as a starting point and in-depth analysis of the office automation system features and workflow technology in office automation applications, on the platform of groupware systems IBM Lotus Domino / Notes, designed and implemented based on B / S structure of the office automation system, according to software engineering.Firstly, design the modules of the automation system based on considerate analysis of the project's requirements. After studied the implementation model of the workflow engine and the features of the workflow automation management features, deployed and implemented the workflow running program of the workflow system, and finished the analysis and discussion of the security, concurrency and document management during processes running, then provided solutions of such issues. The features of the system include a strong process definition tools, a functional management module, flexible process design and the seamless integration for third parties.The design and implementation of the office automation system is based on IBM Lotus Domino / Notes platform, using a combination of HTML, Lotus Script and formula, Ajax, JavaScript, XML, DCOM and related technologies, finished the process definition of the office automation system, security, concurrency control, the user management, retaining traces, printing with seal and other functions, and integrated the Shusheng electronic seal systems in order to further enhance the security of sending and receiving documents.
