Altitude hypoxic training has sorts of shortcomings while enhancing athlete performance. With the inventions of various kind of hypoxic technique, people achieve the simulation of high altitude hypoxic environment successfully. But immature technologies, incomplete automatic control system of hypoxic environment and early-stage hypoxic tent study in domestic are the questions.For traditional manual controlling method is not perfect, this paper develops a portable hypoxic tent automatic monitoring and controlling system of oxygen concentration basing on Sunplus 16-bit microcontroller. Its portability and practicality are prominent by choosing portable and endurable devices with low cost and high quality. Regulating oxygen concentration is implemented by controlling opening time of electromagnetic valve in maximum opening size, differing from previous flow control system by controlling opening size. Electromagnetic valve is opened or closed directly while large oxygen concentration error, otherwise fuzzy control is adopted for accurate control. A double-input and single-output fuzzy controller with alterable variable universe is designed. The system steady state performance is improved by Quantification factor and proportion factor self-adjusting with system error.After introducing the whole architecture of the system, this paper presents detailed design work. For hardware part, main circuits are designed including signals concerting circuit and driven circuit, et al. For software part, main and subroutine program flowcharts are given out with detailed explanation, and the system's functions of data display and querying, parameter setting and changing, voice prompting and oxygen concentration self-regulating are realized. Finally, the function and performance are tested. Experimental data show that the system realizes unattended controlling and oxygen concentration can maintain at setting value within±0.1 error.
