It has been widespread concerned since Control algorithm came out. In specific areas, it is a better choice for fuzzy control algorithm combined with the traditional PID control algorithm which gives full play to the advantages of both. At the same time, electronic technology is also growing. Field Programmable Gate Array research has reached a matured level; its development provides the possibility for realizing the modular hardware-based algorithm.In this thesis, with the advantages of fuzzy control theory and the limitations which the PID control algorithm for the traditional application in the modern agriculture, meanwhile designed the fuzzy self-turning PID control algorithm, and then studied and analysis this algorithm deeply.In the second part of this article, mathematical model of the modern greenhouse node-type irrigation system has been established through much more analysis and study, and then make the fuzzy self-turning PID control algorithm apply to this modern system. In the final of this part, simulated three algorithm, the traditional PID algorithm, the fuzzy control algorithm and the fuzzy self-turning PID control algorithm in MATLAB software, the simulation results shows that fuzzy self-turning PID control algorithm could be a good choice for the greenhouse node-type irrigation system, The performance of its advantages in small overshoot, shorten the dynamic process, improve the stability of the entire system.Based on the results of simulation, used FPGA and Quartus II software as a development tools, achieve different functions for the modular processing by the thought of modular design methods, and completed the fuzzy self-turning PID control algorithm in the FPGA platform implementation. In this paper, mainly used schematics design and VHDL approach to the design of the structure of the input design, and then conducted simulation with the Quartus II software simulation tools. The simulation results show that the design has achieved the functions of fuzzy self-tuning PID control algorithm.The control algorithm built in the FPGA excellently avoids running fly of the algorithm program, cyclic Process deadlock, the reset unreliable, and so on, resulted from the CPU or other problems. It also greatly enhances the reliability of the control chips. At the same time, the versatility of the modules is greatly enhanced, the peripheral circuit is saved. Hence, the development cost is reduced.
