Rock burst is a mine earthquake caused by mining, and is a big natural disaster in mine. Most of China's coal mine was built in 1950s-1960s, with the depth of mining increasing, these mine will enter the deep mine phase. The followed rock burst hazard which caused by high stress will be severely constrained mine production safety.This paper describes the characteristics of rock burst, the classification of rock burst and the current commonly used method of monitoring rock burst. In the rock burst signal recognition and processing, described P-wave automatically extract algorithm based on the STA/LTA algorithms in detail , single source location algorithm and the rock burst magnitude determination based on the local magnitude and duration magnitude.This paper introduces a overall of rock burst monitoring and orientation system which adopted in the practical application, and proposal a design scheme of rock burst monitoring and orientation terminal and made a detailed introductory statement of the various modules of the program.Combine the design scheme of rock burst monitoring and orientation system, programming system program of rock burst monitoring and orientation terminal , and implement the relevant algorithms of rockburst positioning and monitor technology to proposed in the text.The focus of this article is the study and design of rockburst monitoring and orientation terminal, however, to the integrity of the whole system, design remote measurement and control and data transceiver systems in the server-side, and real-time broadcast intelligence platform for rockburst situation based on Web technology. The remote measurement and control and data transceiver system is used to real-time monitor the rockburst monitoring and orientation terminal. It not only allows the operating parameters of remote terminal equipment on-line changes,also real-time receives rockburst data from the rockburst monitoring and orientation terminal and saves these data. The rockburst situation real-time broadcast intelligence platform is used to real-time release the processed data, such as rockburst occurred moment, seismic source coordinates, and magnitude and so on. In addition, by verifying every performance of the rockburst monitoring and orientation terminal system, terminal system can be applied in the actual monitoring of rockburst, but the positioning accuracy, P-wave of the judge and the determination of the magnitude of the system exists certain error.Finally, combine the problems of experiment and verification, defined the next step should be to continue to work towards, and proposed suggestions and prospects for rockburst monitoring and orientation system further research.
