With the development of information technology,and the wide application of new technologies like as embedded technology,Automatic Detection Technology,etc. Birth enterprise application of new management concept.Equipment capacity and stability of the requirements of the production process is also rising.As traditional information systems the lack of connection between the EPR and the PCS layer, more and more difficult to meet the enterprise information and intelligence requirements. The resulting manufacturing execution systems (MES) has been an increasing number of enterprises of all ages.In the process manufacturing, MES achieved good success of theoretical research and application efficiency.But in the discrete manufacturing,MES development and application of very few success stories, particularly in discrete manufacturing MES and equipment integration layer there is little to achieve.Aiming at the application of the MES system,based on search and read a lot of journal literatures related to the research and application,summarizes the concept, development and application prospect of the MES,analysis of MES difficult to implement in the discrete manufacturing reasons.Therefore, this article's main task is through the analysis of today's embedded systems hardware and software technology development and applications, design a set of ARM-based embedded systems MES wireless detection terminal platform.The ultimate goal of the terminal platform designed is to achieve a low-cost, high-performance and have universal, platform for MES detection of embedded terminals, able to meet the discrete manufacturing MES application requirements.The paper is divided into six chapters, its organizational structure as follows:Chapter one: "Introduction", Introduces the background and significance of the subject, describes the manufacturing execution system MES which its definitions and functional model.Discusses the status and trends of development of the MES at home and abroad,then put forward the main elements of topics and papers of the organizational structure.Chapter two: "The wireless sensor network technology theory and protocol analysis", summarizes the topics covered by the relevant theory. Mainly include the basic principles of wireless sensor networks, ZigBee technology and its protocol structure, ZigBee protocol network topology.Chapter three: "Detection of terminal hardware platform for wireless design and realization," described in detail the structure of the wireless detection of terminal hardware design and implementation. Including hardware selection, circuit design, communication interface, and hardware implementation of anti-interference design.Chapter four:"Wireless detection terminal software platform design and implementation", In this chapter starting from the operating system mainly introduces FreeRTOS operating system which transplants in terminal hardware platform, complies and added drivers , research wireless sensor network's algorithm for data transmission.Chapter five: "Wireless detection of the terminal debugging and runnning",The chapter introduce the hardware and software of the system debugging and debugging problems encountered .and how to solution them.Chapter six: "Summary and Prospect", which summarize the research topic and proposed direction of work to be studied.
