Visual image of Pu’er tea products is an important presentation in the background of marketing, and also is an crucial way to embody the products characteristics of Pu’er tea. There are historical records that Pu’er tea producing area are located in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Pu’er and Lincang in Yunnan Province. And the minority of Dai, Wa, Lahu, Bulang, Jinuo live in this area for generations. This dissertation regard visual art resources of teaplanting minority in southwestern Yunnan province as the important component of visual presentation of Pu’er tea products,and also as the crucial inspiration the basis of minority visual arts for Pu’er tea designing.Through the investigation and research, we can found that there is a phenomenon that Pu’er tea products lack the aesthetic perception of products design. And the visual arts of minority in this region can not play a role in the Pu’er tea products design. This dissertation is aimed at sort out visual art resources of teaplanting minority in Pu’er tea producing area and to provide a theoretical summary of the usage of visual image of Pu’er tea.This paper is divided into four parts:First, collecting the Pu’er Tea tea history and history of teaplanting minority; two, Second, sorting out folk art visual image of Pu’er tea producing area, and making a summary in folk art resources for the last part of the dissertation. Third, describing the field research of Pu’er tea product package in Lancang, Pu’er, Yunnan Province,, indicating that the current Pu’er tea product visual image has the lower aesthetic perception. Fourth, aiming at the visual image design Pu’er tea product proposing Pu’er tea product visual image design system and using the minority art visual image of Southwest Yunnan.The main results of research can be summarized that Pu’er tea product visual image design regard traditional minority art image design and aesthetic consciousness as main components and design resources basis; according to investigation and visual design theory, this dissertation put forward Pu’er tea product visual image design system and the theoretical basis of the application of minority art image in the visual image design of Pu er tea products.
