With the increasing popularity of Chinese impulsed by globalization, more and more international students come to China. Laos and China have had a long history of friendly communication with each other, and thus the number of international students from Loas is also getting larger annually,which leads to a notable focus on Chinese teaching for Lao students. Language tests are vital in teaching, which can evaluate the quality of language teaching. We can evaluate not only academic grades and language proficiency of the language learners but also the actual effect of teaching through language tests. Error-analysis is a very commonly used theoretically analytical method. By analysing the errors of the learners during their learning process, we can make it possible to instruct the teachers aimed at these errors and therefore improve the teaching efficiency and the whole process of second-language teaching.In this thesis, we analyse the differences of test results and each basic information, including gender, age, major, birth place, HSK level and whether with Chinese blood or not. Besides, we analyse each type of the test questions and divide the errors into three different categories —— errors of words, errors of sentence constituents and errors of sentence structure and word order, based on which we put forwards some suggestions on Chinese teaching.
