It is advancing in depth.Sub-district offices as government sent agencies are the most closely related to the public, directly face to face with the masses, is the main public service providers. At the same time, they are also faced with various and complex affairs, but their situation of manpower and material resources are relatively deficient. Therefore, further research on the scope and path of public service purchase has a far-reaching significance on how to better meet increasingly personalized and diversified public service requirements has realistic significanceThis paper, mainly taking sub-district offices of Hanjiang district as an example, makes use of the market and government failure theory, new public management theory, the theory of privatization of public services, etc. At the same time, based on the purchase of public services on the current situation, this paper finds out the existing problems, combined with the domestic and foreign advanced experience, the author makes some recommendations, mainly including: to further explore street social management functions, the establishment and perfection of the purchase of public service standardized process, fostering the development of social organizations, improve the purchase of public service competition, to expand the establishment of the sub-district offices and the community according to the needs of the public to buy services, to establish positive interaction between the sub-district offices and community, to improve the evaluation mechanism.
