Professor Mu Yaping 's Experience In Treating Children' S Cerebral Palsy By Integrative Chinese And Western Medicine

Infantile cerebral palsy is referred to as infantile cerebral palsy. Western medicine believes that the non progressive brain damage results in the cerebral palsy of children who are in one month after birth with immature brain development. Themain manifestation is posturalandmotordysfunction syndrome. Severe children may have mental problems,involuntary movements and visual or hearing or speech dysfunctions.They may also have convulsions and sensory disorders. This is the common cause of disability in childhood.Clinical treatments contain rehabilitation training, drug treatment, surgical treatment and other methods. Traditional Chinese medicine does not have this definition. According to the characteristics of the disease cause and pathogenesis, it can be classified as "five softness", "five lateness" category. They think that this disease dues to congenital deficiency and congenital and acquired toxin infection. It can be treated from the spleen,liver and kidney aspects. My teacher is the president of Shenyang Children’s Hospital. She engages in integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment of pediatric diseases for many years and has much clinical experience of children with cerebral palsy.She leds the hospital to bear the risk of the northeast region of the diagnosis and screening work and identification of disabled children work in Shenyang.Our comprehensive academic and medical treatment level reaches the domestic leading level in the prevention and treatment of brain injury caused by the dysfunction of traditional Chinese medicine. I have the honor to apprentice for two years to understand the essence of teachings.This article briefly introduces my teacher’s clinical experience in the treatment of children with cerebral palsy.This is a drop in the bucket.My teacher thinks that the treatment of children with cerebral palsy should be guided by the theory of traditional Chinese medicine.It should be people oriented and essence treatment.Carry forward the characteristics of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine.Individualized treatment plan plays an important role in enhancing the curative effect and the quality of children’s life.These important clinical experiences are worthy of our further study, inheritance and development.
