Objective Retrospective analysis was carried out in clinical cases, the difference ofclinical data was compared, including the clinical features, MRI data, associated disease, and different risk factors, between the spastic CP and non-spastic type. We studied theChinese medical pathogenesis of CP based on the blood stasis theory of TCM and thecollaterals disease theory, which was caused by PVL.The PVL was caused by many factors. The research explored that the major risk factors was theory basis of blood stasis, innovatedand perfected the theory of pathogenesis, stagnation of the stasis and retardation of cerebralchannel. We investigated the therapy of activating blood circulation and resolving stasis inthe treatment of spastic type. It can offer new theoretical basis in Chinese medical treatmenton CP.Methods We designed the registration form of cases firstly. The samples were fromthe same statistical population in order to follow the balance of statistic principle. The casesconforming to the eligibility were selected, and the data were registered. Clinical data withgeneral condition, birth history, risk factors, laboratory examination, MRI data, clinical type, syndrome different type, the drogue of improving brain circulation, taking Chinesemedicine were collected, and then a database was established. After that, we used frequencyanalysis, Chi-square test, single factor analysis and multifactor Logistics regression analysisand other statistical methods, and discuss these statistical results.Results①In182CP children concluded that men and women in the sex ratio of1.72:1.There are124cases younger than3years of age, which percent is68.1%.In theetiology of CP caused the first three main factors were premature birth and low birth weight, sensation of asphyxia and jaundice. There were120cases(65.9%) of combination of CP,and mental retardation117(64.3%) of language disorder,41(22.5%) of visual disturbance,33(18.1%) of hearing disorder and27(14.8%) of epilepsy.②Of these182CP cases, spastictype was109cases(59.9%), hypotonic type28(15.4%), mixture type19(10.4%), athetosistype16(8.8%), ataxia type1(0.5%),other type9(4.9%). The spastic type is highest, and theataxia is lowest.③MRI examination was abnormal in87.3%patients. In151CP cases withimaging examination,84cases are PVL, accounting for55.6%. There are61cases of spastic type CP caused by PVL, accounting for72.6%.④There are90cases with bloodstasis syndrome in109cases of spastic CP (82.6%), significant differences(P<0.05)werefound in two groups.⑤There are57cases with spastic type syndrome caused by PVL in109cases(93.4%), two groups were comparable.(P<0.05)Conclusion The diagnosis of CP is mostly within3years old. Premature infants, lowbirth weight infants, sensation of asphyxia and hyperbillirubinemia are major causes of CP.CP is often merge mental retardation, language disorder and epilepsy. The MRIexamination results of PVL are common in the spastic type CP. The main pathologicalchange of spastic CP is PVL. Mostly the spastic type is TCM syndrome characterized byblood stasis. Blood stasis is a main pathological factor in spastic CP. Stagnation of the stasisand retardation of cerebral channel is one mainly pathological mechanism of spastic typeCP.
