Clinical Study Of Tonifying Kidney And Spleen To Improv Intelligence Acupuncture Method In Treating Infantile Cerebral Palsy

Objective Using the acupuncture method of tonifying kidney and spleen and improving intelligence to the treatment of infantile cerebral palsy, and establish a control group for comparison, by observing the changes of integral of comprehensive functional assessment in infantile with cerebral palsy in the treatment before and after, objectively evaluate the clinical efficacy.Methods According to the inclusion criteria to select the case, 60 cases of infantile with cerebral palsy were divided into treatment group and control group by using the method of random number table, 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was given the acupuncture method of tonifying kidney and spleen and improving intelligence. And the control group was simply used the ordinary acupuncture. Analysis all datum and evaluate the effect by statistics after 3 courses of treatment.Results(1) The total effective rate of the treatment group is 90%, and the control group is 76.67% after the treatment. There were significant differences in the two groups(P<0.05). It,s inferred that the curative effect of the treatment group is better than the control one.(2) The comparison was significant in both before and after therapy in total integral of comprehensive functional assessment(P<0.05), it,s inferred that the two groups can improve the total integral of comprehensive functional assessment. After the treatment, there were more significant differences among two groups(P<0.05), it,s inferred that the treatment group is better than the control one.(3) The comparison is significant in both before and after therapy in Each factor score of functional comprehensive assessment(P<0.05), the results showed that: After treatment, each function were improved than before(P<0.05), while the treatment group in cognitive function, speech function, exercise capacity, and other aspects of self-care movement is more significant(P<0.01).(4) After treatment, in addition to the social adaptability function, the comparison is significant in both in Each factor score of functional comprehensive assessment(P<0.05), it,s inferred that the two groups have no difference in social adaptability function, but in cognitive function, speech function, exercise capacity, and other aspects of self-care movement the treatment group is better than the control one, especially in cognitive function and exercise capacity improved significantly(P<0.01).(5) Compared the relationship between clinical curative effect and the different age stages of treatment, the effective rate in the children of below 3 years old group is 94.59%, that of in the children of between 3-5 years old is 65.22%. There is a significant difference between in both sides(P<0.05), it,s inferred that the below 3 years old group curative effect is better than that of the between 3-5 years old group, which indicates that the relationship between age and effect is linear negative correlation.ConclusionThe study shows that both of therapies can improve the clinical symptoms in infantile with cerebral palsy, and improve overall function in children, but the curative effect of the treatment group is better than the control one. After treatment, the treatment groupin in cognitive function, speech function, exercise capacity, and other aspects of self-care movement is better than the control one, especially in cognitive function and exercise capacity improved significantly(P<0.01). The below 3 years old group curative effect is better than that of the between 3-5 years old group, which indicates that the relationship between age and effect is a linear negative correlation. all in all, the result point out that this method might have certain effect to treat the infantile cerebral palsy and it can be used in clinic.
