Objective:To study and observation the clnical easement of pain and dysfunction of degenerative osteoarthritis of the knee which use Bo’s abdominal acupuncture treatment. To study the prevalence of degenerative osteoarthritis of the knee and the relationship between the course and the outcome.Methods:Degenerative osteoarthritis of the knee is a common and frequently occurring disease, which is also difficult to cure. The proportion of patients with knee pain caused by the inconvenience is quite high. At present, there are a variety of treatment methods, which have their own advantages and limitations can reduce the pain to a certain extent, Select a certain effective method to treat the disease, can significantly improve the patient’s discomfort, reduce the burden of life. Abdominal acupuncture has a good effect on pain, also can improvement of knee joint function. We collected 60 patients of degenerative osteoarthritis of the knee and treated with Bo’s abdominal acupuncture. Acupoints:YinqiGuiyuan (Zhongwan, Xiawan, Qihai, Guanyuan),Shuifen, Daheng (bilateral),Qipang, Wai Ling (ipsilateral), wind damp (ipsilateral); dialectical addition and subtraction:medial knee pain and rheumatism, the knee joint is fixed pain can be local encircled needling, when is completed, use the red light irradiation for 30 minutes,3 times treatment for 1 week, totally therapy for 10 times. According to the TCM syndrome diagnosis and curative effect standard the development of efficacy criteria, the knee pain use the VAS score table, the knee joint dysfunction use the Lysholm score scale. Data results using the SPSS20.0 statistical software to analysis. Measurement data using X+S, normal distribution measurement data within the group compared with the paired t test, non normal distribution of measurement data using non parametric test, count data rate (%) said. P< 0.05 for the difference has statistical significance.Results:The results were statistically analyzed,18 cases were markedly effective,39 cases improved,3 cases ineffective, the total effective rate was 95%. The VAS index analysis showed that before and after of the first treatment had significant difference (P< 0.01); for the first time before treatment and after the fifth treatment, pre-treatment and late-treatment have differences (P<0.01); after the first treatment and before the end of treatment scores were significantly different, have statistically significant (P<0.01), showed that abdominal acupuncture has a good analgesic effect immediately, and can gradually improve limb pain. Lysholm knee score dysfunction indicators before and after the first treatment the difference was significant (P<0.01), with statistical significance; for the first time before treatment and after the fifth treatment, the treatment of early and late treatment differences (P<0.01); for the first time after the end of treatment score before treatment were significantly different, statistically significant (P<0.01), showed that abdominal acupuncture has instantly improve knee dysfunction role in the early treatment can significantly improve dysfunction, mainly from the post-treatment to consolidate the effect of the action. The relationship between the age of onset and the predisposing factors knows that degenerative osteoarthritis of the knee is usually occured between 45-59 years, which the peak incidence is 50-54 years, women than men, indicating that the disease may be related to estrogen changes in hormone levels related; in addition, chills and fatigue are also important predisposing factor, indicates that the cartilage toughness reduced with age, joints more vulnerable to external or mechanical arising degenerative changes. Compared with the traditional acupuncture, it’s advantages are the characteristics of high efficiency safety and painless. As a new type of acupuncture therapy, abdominal acupuncture is good at treating chronic and acute pain, and it is worth popularizing in clinic.
