Research And Implementation For The Remote Education-training System Of Northeast Web Corporation

Remote web training is a new training method with the development of new modern information technology, and it is the main route in constructing the whole life span studying system in knowledge-economical time. In order to develop the Northeast Web Corporation (NWC) into a studying enterprise, we construct life-span studying system, using information technology to push forward the high development of training, optimizing and taking full advantage of education resources of NWC, spreading and upgrading the employee's characters, decreasing the cost of education and finally forming open educational system through executing modern remote education project. "The remote education-training system of Northeast Web Corporation"is based on Windows operating system, IIS Web service and SQL database systems, the programming languages are ASP, XML and DELPHI. B/S mode is used in front system, it has the advantages of flexibility, easiness and high expansion; the rear administrative system takes C/S mode, it was safe, stable and reliable. Using web platform, this system creates convenient studying and training environment, upgrades the strength and frequency of professional training, and launches an open training, efficiency checking and a characteristic training. This brochure applies the software engineering theories and is systematically studied and programmed. After analyzing the development of the system, the paper introduces structures of B/S and C/S system and their comparison in advantages and disadvantages. The B/S mode simplifies the application, it does not need to install application program on different computers, and all it needs is just a web explorer. It not only save the hard disk space and memory size for client computers but also simplifies the installation process for the program. However, C/S has a strong communication and provides more safe way of access mode than others can. It is adaptable for local web, high safety web protocol. And its safety can be promised. Comparison with these two modes, their advantages and disadvantages are complementary symmetry. As for a database system, the need for a high speed, convenient data processing platform associated with less maintenance, easily to use platform, this demand would undoubtedly the cohesion product of those two. Eventually, taking the B/S and C/S simultaneously, the system adopts SQL Server 2000 as its storage management, and uses ASP, XML DELPHI as developing languages to complete the system development.
