Research Of The Wireless Position Technique Based Services In Emergency System

Wireless position based services is a new service of rise in value, which provide consumer with information of mobile station s position. The service obtain information of mobile station s position by Global Positioning System (GPS) and mobile communication network, after that calculat and display mobile station s position by Geographic InformationSystem (GIS).This thesis studies the key techniques of the wireless orientation in urban emergency system. We sets focus on solutions which include GPS and cellular wireless position system, GIS, General Packet Radio Service (GPRS), and the integration of GPS, GIS and GPRS.The integration of GPS and GIS provides GPS with the best direction for the popularization and the application, at the same time, this intergration technique which is important filed of the development of GIS. So the integration of GIS and GPS has become a hotspot research field nowadays. With the application background of positioning and monitoring of vehicles, the paper deeply researchs the GPS coordinate transformation, to correct the error of GPS, the receiving and disposing of GPS signals, the GIS network structure of monitor center, and gives. Flinally, the paper gives respective solution of the issue.In addition, this thesis discusses the choice of communication channel in the application system. Finally, according to the compare of GPRS, GSM and CDMA, we choose GPRS. The paper gives a schame of the communication between vehicles and monitor center which using GPRS network.The main contributions of this thesis are:1. We analyse the requirement of Location Based Services (LBS) in urban emergency system, and the application of many diverse technologies of mobile location are studied based on the aforementioned anlaysis.2. The key techniques, which solutionde in the integration of GPS and GIS.3. The paper gives an applied example of LBS in E-119, which combined the GPS with cellular wireless position. This system implements the mobile telephone positioning and the fixed telephone positioning, and achieved positioning and monitoring of vehicles. The design and realization of the method has the advantages of accurate location, advanced, agility, so the schame can spreaded.
