The phenomenon of news entertainment is a comparative extrusive problem being long exist in the information spread of news media in China. This phenomenon has been discussed in academic and theoretic circle of news, but too scrap. For the sake of expurgating cognition of this phenomenon and accelerating improvement of the information spread of news media, the author try to fetch up deficiency and give a comprehensive and systemic pectination of the phenomenon of news entertainment on the basis of former research, and try to give a personal opinion on the cause of formation and countermeasures of renovation, etc., of the phenomenon of news entertainment at a deeper level.There are five chapters in this paper.The first chapter expatiates the existent actuality of the phenomenon of news entertainment and shows the author's own opinion in the connotation of the phenomenon of news amusement.The second chapter carifies the inaccurate cognition to the phenomenon of news entertainment.The third chapter analyses the abuse and harm of the phenomenon of news entertainment in every aspect.The fourth chapter analyses the cause of formation of the phenomenon of news entertainment, especially focusing on the catalyse effects caused by the innovation of media marketization and the scarcity of the self-discipline spirit of news media on the phenomenon of news entertainment.The fifth chapter discusses orientation of social role and duty consciousness of news media, and laies countermeasures to renovate the phenomenon of news entertainment and re-pickup the news dignity.
