This thesis comes from the project of the technical innovation of bearing test center of a bearing corporation. After analyzing the state and the foreground of computer control system, according to the characters of bearing test, the paper puts forward to and designs a distributed monitoring and control system for the bearing test center. The system can monitor the test processes of many bearing test machines in real-time, analyze the vibration signals of bearings being tested, send alarms if some faults are found. During test, bearings test data will be sent to operation station by netv/ork and stored into the database for future analysis.This paper introduces management information system design and communication network design in details. After analyzing the advantages and weaknesses of C/S and B/S, the paper designs C/S mode management information system. On the ground of analysis of several kinds of field bus, CAN bus, which has high demand of reliability, good real-time performance and anti-interference, is adopted as the field layer network. The network of the system is divided into two levels. Operation station, gateway and database server constitute the management network. Gateway and control stations constitute the field network.The system has been used in a bearing plant successfully. By using this system, the operators of the test center no longer need to diagnose bearing faults by their eyes and ears and the precision of bearing test is greatly improved.
