With the rapid developing of the digital broadcasting technology, set-top box is now widely used as the user-end equipment in the digital television broadcasting system. Digital TV began to appear in the ordinary family, consumer can enjoy thousands of programs along with all kinds of teletext information in their own home now, and the sound and image quality of the programs are all DVD quality. In the big family of the digital TV field, has achieved more and more recognition on both transfer mode and receiving technology, because of its wireless and mobile receiving future, especial of its substitute for current analog TV broadcasting. This paper has completed the system design and implementation of the digital terrestrial TV receiver. Base on the analysis of terrestrial transfer channel, the paper introduces the DVB-T standard, and discuss the core COFDM technology as well as front-end transmit system structure. Base on the introduction of digital terrestrial TV broadcasting theory and technology background above, the paper described the designing and implement of the finished receiving system, and parse both the hardware and software structure which are interfered by the development system. In hardware, the project applies the MPEG-2 decoder chip named PX1524 as main chip, and form the receiving front-end with MC303 tuner and DT466 COFDM decoder. In order to improve the mobile performance of front-end, the paper expatiate the AGC controlling circuit designing. As to software, the followed had been discussed: the future of uCOS-II RTOS and its migration, system adaptation layer, and application layer, etc. The configuration and management on the related front-end is analyzed, and a scan algorithm is introduced to implement rapid and efficient blind scan function. At last, the paper gives a front-end receiving test report.
