Embedded real time operating system is a hot topic for industrial field in recent years, and there are already some this kind of OS emerged, such as VxWorks,uCOS-II,RT-Linux,QNX, etc. In which uCOS-II is an open source operating system with preemptive kernel, and famous for its shortness and capability. To study this OS and migrate to some embedded equipments is very popular in every area of computer world.This passage first studies this system's operating principle and kernel structure, and introduces how to run this operating system on ultrasonic diagnosis equipment which is based on C51 microcontroller. By this migration, the problem of low expansibility and low proficiency of the former system has been solved, and this real time operating system can run in ultrasonic diagnostic equipment.Under the success of migration, trace ball and key board driver with PS/2 protocol has been put into the OS. This makes diagnosis equipment can use general computer component, which can reduce the difficulty of developing keyboard and mouse driver of this machine.
