A New Building Automation Control System Based On The Virtual Reality Technology

Since it's appearance, the virtual reality technology is always noticed by people. Recent years, along with the computer technology and computer graphics technology's developing , Virtual reality apply to many fields such as game, teaching, real estate, medicine, design, archeology and art. Intelligent building has been developed for a period of time since 80's. It adopts integration management method, which economizes human and material resources, enhances running efficiency, and strengthens security in great extent. The method is realized by developing software platform of monitor system that is the core of intelligent building, intelligent gateway, local controller, central computer network, and so on. The dissertation introduces the application of virtual reality used in BAS. It first introduces the development actuality of software platform of intelligent building monitor system all over the world. By taking advantage of predominance of all products and combining practical status with system requirement, I design the system and the details. The software package consists of the virtual reality modeling development and the scene browser. Virtual reality modeling software use the 3DS MAX as it's development. Based on this, I do the Plug-In of database, alarm light and button. At the same time, I used the WTK to do the scene browser. According to the above, the system is implemented under Windows 2003 server and generated using some development tools, such as Visual C++ .net, SQL Server, MAX SDK, WTK and so on. The dissertation describes the technical details of programming for each part, which include design idea, program method, implement technology, and so on.
