The Design And Realization Of Interaction Managing System For Web-Based Education In CSCW Condition

In this modern society, with the rapid increasing and updating of knowledge and information, high-quality and high-effect education became the popular desire of modern learners. The web-based education came into being under this circumstance, by the way of combining the educational theory and network technology. The basic characteristics of web-based education lie in the teacher and students'time and space separation during the process of teaching, which results in its difficulty of managing and controlling compares with the traditional teaching way. From this point, it is obvious that the quality of "managing"in web-based education would influence the final effect of education directly. However, the existing web-based education is not equipped with the satisfied managing means. Therefore, it must be valuable to consider the way of controlling and managing all levels of information flow in web-based education. This paper puts forward the concept of managing information flow for web-based education, puts forward the model of interaction managing system that corresponds with the web-based education. This paper finally design and realize the interaction managing system corresponds with the web-based education, which was provided the technical foundation by the CSCW technology and has the excellent groupware system Lotus Domino/Notes as the developing base.
