A Viewpoint To The System Reform Of Chinese Local TV Media Got By Studying A County TV Station's Present Situation

As Chinese unique TV system, four ranks (center, provinces, cities and counties) of governments all running at least one TV media has existed in China for over 20 years. Surely, this kind of system did so important contribution to the development of Chinese TV industry.But with the faster and faster industrialization in the TV industry, the system is more and more unsuitable to the new situation. So the counties' TV medias, which are at the bottom of the system, are in particular embarrassment.How is the present situation of the Chinese local especial the counties' TV medias on earth? What kind of problems in these medias and in Chinese TV system even in Chinese political system and in Chinese society dose the situation reflect? How to resolve these problems? Is there any significance to keep the local TV medias existing which lives difficultly in the very narrow policy space? If there is, how should we reform them to be suitable the inevitable trend of the TV industrialization? These all are the problems, which the author pays, close attention to in this thesis.Basing on the considerations, the thesis is structured by tow parts:First of all, the author chose a western county's TV station in which he worked as the sample he studied and analyzed. Combining his experience with the present situation of some other counties' TV medias he can collect, the author detailed described the counties" TV medias' present situation in each aspect, and analyzed the shortcoming of Chinese local TV medias' system which cannot adapt to the trend of the TV industrialization.The second part: the author introduced and analyzed the system of the local TV medias in the U.S.A., according to the correlated materials. The author thought that because of the natural born background of market economical of the local TV medias in the U.S.A., they would be good examples for the reform to Chinese ones, and our reform could use their successful experiences. Basing on the analysis mentioned above, the author advanced his viewpoint and thought to the system reform of Chinese local TV medias and the whole Chinese TV industry.
