The top box of digital machinereceives digital TV and various kinds of data messages that various kindsof transmission medium,by demodulation, solve not replying with,decoding and audio frequency and video code (or not last module throughcorresponding data ), watch digital television program and various kindsof data information on the analogue TV. According to the difference of thesignal transmission medium, the top box of digital machine is divided intothree kinds of digital TV roof boxes of wired , satellite and ground , themain difference of hardware structure between three kinds of boxes is inthe demodulation part. We can say , the roof box is the bridge where theanalogue TV turns to the digital TV over the next 10 years . Our countryhas announced the transmission standard of the standard definition digitalTV in succession too, making the independent open business system, thistransforms research , manufacture with the roof box and establishes thefoundation for digital TV set of wired TV station. Once the standard isissued, there is a very great market potential.
