The subject in the paper is an important part of the large ion microprobe mass spectrum instrument remote sharing demonstration research project, which is organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China. The project is very important to share large scientific instruments. The research purpose of the subject is to develop the real-time transmission client system about Ion Microprobe (SHRIMPâ…¡) sample image based Internet and WEB system. The subject's researching is an indispensability part of the whole project, and now no commercial production can transmit the real-time sample image in Internet, and the production can be applied other scientific instruments. The researching include the development of real-time transmission of sample image client system and WEB system. The key question is to let the main scientist and the cooperated scientist get sample image in time. The real-time transmission of sample image client system is a primary part of the subject. It composes six software modules. Network communication module, is designed to communicate between the image server system and the image client system, ion microprobe remote controlling system, website system. Its researching contents are applying TCP/IP protocol using WinSock, instituting application layer protocol and developing the program of coding and encoding. Proxy service module , is used to support the user who connect to the internet through Proxy mode. Digital image decompressed and processed module , which decompressed the data got from image server according to our protocol. Then process the data and send to display module.
