The Technology Of CAPP Based On The Solid Edge

The present paper analyzed the situation and development background of the domestic and foreign CAPP (computer aided process planning), and systematically studied the CAPP technology based on the Solid Edge, including its basic thought as well as the design mentality. Based on these thought and way, the author developed an application software system-the CAPP system based on the Solid Edge. This software system can lay the foundation of the informationize of the manufacturing industry and integration of design and technics. With this software system, we can reduce our time for design, can raise efficiency, can bring more economic benefit. The system has more application value.
