In the wholly developing procedure, author persists the idea of ensuring circuit performance, cutting down cost and realizing Controller Area Network Bus data transmission fully. For realizing real-time high-speed processing, designer has combined DSP and PCI technology, adequately taking advantage of DSP's powerful function of signal processing and PCI local bus' capacity of rapid data transmission.The dissertation consists of hardware design, driver development, CAN bus control system composing. The hardware design part expatiates the specification and characteristic of PCI2040, introduces interface design of PCI2040 and PCI bus, and design of Local bus system. In this dissertation I discussed the interface design of TMS320VC5402 and SJA1000, bring forward general resolved scheme. In driver development part is mainly discussed Windows device driver design of PCI interface module, and introduce the WinDriver tool. At last we test the CAN bus control system. The test result indicated that the specification achieved goals.
