G.726 Algorithm Porting And Design Of VoIP Gatekeeper Based On H.323

In the thesis, firstly, author introduces that the G.726 algorithm is carried out on PC and ported into a IC board. The G.726 is one of the voice algorithms in H.323 protocol.Secondly, author introduces the whole design and achievement of based on H.323 protocol, and especially describes the authentication and accounting. This gatekeeper is designed to use in common telecom companies or professional users. It is compatible with other H.323 equipments. And it has functions of address resolution, call authorization/access, zone management, bandwidth management and configure dynamic amending in running. As well as, it supports some users' requirements of NAT setting and accounting etc. First of all, the paper gives module partition of the gatekeeper and particularly describes the functions of these modules and interfaces. Then, the authentication and accounting module and flow plans are designed importantly and amply. At last, the author describes the testing environment and result of this system, and gives some advice of this design. All in all, this design perfectly keeps to the idea about OOP, and possesses expandability and reusability.
