Research On Grid Resource Management System Model Based On Campus Network

This dissertation analyzes the requirement of campus network resource management and proposes using Grid Resource Management System into campus network in order to solve the problem of Resource Hunger. Grid technology and its using status are introduced first and famous international grid projects are introduced in detail. Four models of Grid Resource Management, which are Hierarchical Model, Abstract Owner Model, Computational Market/Economy Model, and Mixed Model are given and analyzed. A campus grid resource management model based on Hierarchical Model is designed, which includes Application Support Layer, Service Layer and Resource Layer. And the series of tactic and the mechanism of Service Layer, the core part of the model, are described. The resources find arithmetic in the resource discovery tactic is analyzed.
