To integrate and manage all distributed resources based on gridtechnology and implement resource sharing and cooperative work is anissue. Campus Computing Grid is an important application of the GridTechnology. After the necessity of the Campus Computing Grid isanalyzed, the study of the Campus Computing Grid, based on the deepanalysis and study of the theory knowledge of the Grid technology, iscampaigned, and a Campus Computing Grid Framework is designed andimplemented in this paper. There are four layers in this Framework: resource layer, middlewarelayer, development layer and portal layer. In this paper, Condor is used tointegrate the grid resource, GT4, which is the most important part of theCampus Computing Grid, is used as the middle platform, Java Cog Kitprovides the development environment for developers; GridSphere isused to make the Grid Portal. Through the Grid Portal, Grid users cansubmit task, view the execution status of the task. The design and implementation of the Campus Computing Gridframework, not only can make full utilize of the school's computingresource, expand the users of the expensive resources which can not becopied, but also can eliminate the isolated island of resources andinformation. At last, a security, reliable and extensible Web environmentcan be provided. Any user who had been authenticated can use a terminalcomputer, which can access the Internet, to login the Campus ComputingGrid system, submit their jobs, and view statuses of their jobs.
