Research And Implementation Of J2EE-Based Workflow Coordination And Dynamic Configuration

Workflow technology has been a new hotspot in the area of computer supported cooperative work since 1990. It is very important to study the technology in-depth, since it can significantly improve the information degree and operative efficiency of enterprises and government departments, so make them more competitive.With the rapid development of the society, J2EE technology and Web Services technology are more and more used in enterprise's applications. The coordination of enterprises is more and more frequent, and the strategies and business processes of the enterprise can frequently change. Hence, the enterprise has to deal with a lot of dynamic, large-scale and distributed business processes, and in the meanwhile it also proposes a dynamic, large-scale and distributed requirement to workflow management system. There have been a lot of productions WFMS nowadays. But in most of these productions, it is not allowed to change the workflow except in build time. However, with the expansion of enterprise and rapid changes of market requirement, more and more workflows are no longer static procedures. They need to make some dynamic modifications to react to all kinds of new requires in run time. And workflow dynamic reconfiguration is one of the most important techniques that we need in order to improve the flexibility of WFMS. Hence, the coordination and dynamic reconfiguration technology of workflow have been a research hotspot at the present time.Using Web technology has been the primary character of the new workflow management system. The former workflow management system is realized in the CORBA or DCOM technology. But they are limited, nowadays Web and J2EE are used greatly, traditional workflow technology can't meet the increasing needs of organizational process re-engineering and automatization.This thesis associating with power marketing item does a research and implementation on distributed workflow based on Web services and J2EE.
