Research On The Software Process Measurement Oriented Small And Medium-size Software Corporations

On the basis of CMMI, associate it with the case of small and medium-size softwarecorporations, using GQ(I)M ,then introducing and applying the SPC and data fitting intosoftware process measurement to make software process information quantified. That can makethe software corporations understand, control and improve their software process clarify andhigh availability much more, and bring on the operability and practical result, so accelerate thedevelopment of software process from qualitative management to the coalition of quantitativeand qualitative.The main and creative work that the writer has done concentrates on the following:(1)Put forward the basic thought and principle to reduce and improve the softwareprocess of small and medium-size software corporations.(2)Put forward a software process measurement relation model PMRM and its analyzingmethod.(3)Defines a practical process measurement set based on CMMI ML2 on the basis ofGQ(I)M for small and medium-size software corporations.(4)Introduce and apply SPC into software process measurement to measure, analysis andcontrol the software process.(5)Using nonlinear data fitting into software process measurement to describes themathematical relationship between the quantitative indicators that depend on each other inability.(6)On the basis of above research, the author design the software process measurementand analysis system oriented small and medium-size software corporations and accomplish thesystem prototype—SPMS.Through the above work, the operability of CMMI are improved, and the intuitivism,operability and availability of software process measurement and analysis are improved. So, itcould make the software process measurement using more widely in small and medium-sizesoftware corporations.
