Based On Iso9000 Implementation Of Cmmi L3 Process Improvements

Accounting for process improvement of an enterprise that otained ISO9000 certification five years ago, methods to integrate CMMI Level 3 and ISO9000 standards are researched for improving its management process capability. The contents are as follows:1. By comparing their differences and internal connection, principles of process structure design are used to implement CMMI Level 3 process improvement on the basis of ISO9000 standard.2. Based on analysis of experience of the enterprise implementing CMMI Level 3 process improvement, some inheritable contents of improvement by ISO9000 standards and diverse process management methods are concluded. Moreover, this paper does some researches on implementation of process improvement by combining CMMI level 3 with some project management methods to improve its process capability and obtain some experinces and lessons, which focus on requirement management, schedule management, quality guarantee and configuration management.Results are obtained: although integrative trend of IT industry increases complexity and difficulty of process improvement, we can combine ISO9000 standards with CMMI model to build inheritable and reciprocal process improvement structure from organization level to project level to improve process capability continually.
