| Highway tunnel monitoring & controlling system is the key to guarantee safety and efficiency of running vehicles in tunnel. An efficient and reliable tunnel monitoring & controlling system can not only make all mechanical and electric equipments in full function, but also make the overall quality of service inside the serious tunnel environment to be consistent with the whole highway.Motivated by the design requirements of Qinlin-ZhongNan Mountain highway tunnel, this thesis investigates and analyzes the functions of highway tunnel monitoring & controlling system in great details. According to design specifications and system configuration of highway tunnel monitoring & controlling system, in our design of Qinlin-ZhongNan Mountain highway tunnel monitoring & controlling system, the system is divided into seven subsystems with different integration patterns.According to the system requirements and application environment, modern industrial giga Ethernet is adopted; highly reliable self-recovery industrial lOOMbps ring Ethernet is used as information control backbone between Monitoring & Controlling center and region controller; and a mature and reliable local field-bus is applied between control equipment and local equipment. By comparing industrial pilot computer (IPC) and programmable logic controller (PLC), PLC is employed as local controller because of its maturity, anti-interference capability and stability in bad environment.Based on the practical requirements of the monitoring and controlling system and the specific conditions in Qinlin-ZhongNan Mountain highway tunnel, this thesis proposes key functional modules of the application software, and analyses the communications between intelligent control equipments and local controllers, double backup of local controller and SCADA monitoring & controlling software on the basis of world-wide used automatic series products (hardware and software). |
