With the development of computer science, technology of the sensor and communication technology, the technology of the networked smart transducer has emerged. The networked smart transducer is extensively applied to such fields as the industrial control , long-distance monitoring and intelligent building, has received the extensive concern of every large manufacturers in the world and developed one's own field bus technology, have one's own market share. Hence, nowadays make a general survey of the technology of the field bus, its bus variety is a great characteristic, bring field bus development and on-the-spot equipment mutually operation the adverse effect. So standardization of the field bus in other words of the interface standardization of the networked sensor becomes the hot problem of extensive research of industrial circle. The settlement of the problem has two ways, the first way is standardization of field buses, however, it is difficult to realize the scheme, at first, existing interest conflict of manufacturers, and secondly, no field bus at present can take the role of standardized bus. Second scheme can adopt the IEEE1451 protocol clan put forward by IEEE organization, through this protocol clan we can standardized sensor interface, make various kinds of sensors and field bus network adapters realize the seamless link, reach the operation and interchangeability each other between the networked smart sensors of different manufacturers. Because of this, this thesis has carried on research to the IEEE1451. 2 protocol standard and relevant sensor modules. This thesis introduces the overall development of smart sensor module STIM, emphasizes on the design and realization of STIM based on SOC from hardware and software two parts. SOC is integrated, small and accord with the developing demand for the smart sensor module. In hardware, system on chip ADuC812's characteristics and foot functions are detailed, the hardware is divided into several big module functionally to design separately by the modularized design method, and the design ideas of TII smart interface and the notes in the course of developing ADuC812 are discussed. In software, the thesis takes software development and debugging of ADuC812 as the key point mainly, according to the function finished by STIM module and the realization of hardware circuit, with modularized programming method, finishes such functions as data acquisition, data processing, man-...
