"Software Crisis" initiated to occur software engineering in 60s. Software engineering is engineering science that instructs computer software develop and maintain. Its goal is to raise the software quality and efficiency of productivity of software development.Software engineering includes three elements, which are method, tool and process. Its methods provide technology for software development. Its tools provide automatic or semi-automatic software supporting environment for software engineering methods. Its processes colligate its methods and tools to reach the target that goes on computer software development rationally and duly. The process defines order of using the methods, document files required to deliver, required management to guarantee quality and harmonize changes, and complete milestones of phases. But it just is concerned and researched by software process engineering how to establish a meaningful software process for developing software project.With development of software industry, software development process has been taken serious increasingly. At present, domestic and overseas more and more persons are studying software development process. Author makes some research about software development process.
